Who We Are
How it started
My name is Jarryd Bethune, and I started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at HIVE BJJ (my home gym) in February 2023. One of my first hurdles, apart from getting smashed constantly, was dealing with a skin condition called impetigo.
Skin infections were completely new to me. I had no idea what it was or how to deal with it, so I turned to specialised soaps and shower gels. The problem was that the ones available on the market were extremely expensive and didn’t last long. I shower, on average, twice a day, so the cost added up quickly.
That’s when I decided to create my own soap. This is how Rinse and Roll was born, a specialised grappling soap designed to help combat skin infections while staying affordable.
I aim to keep the soap accessible to all athletes. I believe the first line of defence is good hygiene, and if I can offer a high-quality product that actively helps fight ringworm and staph, I’ll keep it at a low, affordable price.
What started as one bar of soap to stop getting skin infections turned into Rinse and Roll.
A family-run business, handmade with purpose.
We run the business from home, making soap in small batches while raising our baby daughter, Hallie. Our little Rinse and Roll mascot 💕
Rinse and Roll was built from love, sweat, and belief – in our product, our people, and the power of looking after your skin properly.
We’re here for athletes, families, and anyone who wants better skincare.
